Wireless Network Engineer

Description:

This individual will provide wireless networking subject matter expertise with emphasis on Network Engineering, tools and techniques, system modeling, and system deployment, installation, and testing ; Conduct/direct network testing to include requirements analysis, test case design and experimentation, test execution and monitoring, data capture and analysis, and performance assessments ; Provide System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and other Government agencies in meeting research and development objectives ; Provide in-depth expertise and technical analysis to determine technical merit of source selection proposal objectives and methodologies ;Support planning and transition of proven technology to the Services or other Agencies ;Develop and provide technical reports, briefing materials, and other programmatic documentation. Qualified candidates should have a minimum 10 years experience in the field of RF and Network Engineering ; Extensive expertise in: Development, testing, and deployment of wireless technologies to include 802.11, 802.16, military IP-based communications, and mobile ad-hoc networks ;Network protocols (static and mobile environments); Network Architecture requirements analysis, development and testing, test environments, and test documentation; In-depth understanding of: Network test software and equipment to include traffic scanning software, Agilent test equipment or other comparable network equipment vendors; Layer 2 and 3 networking device configuration to include Access List creation and maintenance, implementation of 802.1Q, IP Multicast and Layer 2 Tunneling Protocols (L2TP) ;RF systems and engineering. Proficiency in: Modeling and simulation/programming (MATLAB, C++, Java or similar language); RADIUS implementation, remote user management (VPN) and implementation of techniques to ensure secure network communications; Commercial and DoD encryption systems. This individual should have a BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering or a related field; Experience working in highly classified and sensitive environments; prior DARPA support experience (preferred) and a Top Secret clearance.

Conference Coordinator (part-time)

Description:

Senior Engineer/Test Director for Computer Network Operations (CNO)

Description:

This person will provide subject-matter expertise regarding computer network operations with emphasis on information assurance, network vulnerability discovery and exploitation, digital signal processing, and embedded algorithms. Will plan, develop, and direct experiments or tests to validate developing cyber technologies to include requirements analysis, test case design and experimentation, test execution and monitoring, data capture and analysis, fault/failure replication, and performance assessment. Will provide System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and other Government agencies in meeting research and development objectives. Will also provide in-depth expertise and technical analysis to determine technical merit of source selection proposal objectives and methodologies. Support planning and transition of proven technology to the Services or other Agencies. Develop and provide technical reports, briefing materials, and other programmatic documentation. Position requirements include: A minimum of 10-15 years experience in the field of Computer Network Operations (CNO); Extensive expertise in: Network security and defensive technologies (reconnaissance, reverse engineering, and exploitation), software protection and analysis, network communications (wireless protocols and vulnerability assessments), advanced root kit detection capabilities, and cryptography ; Network test environments and development of test documentation; B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical field; Experience working in highly classified and sensitive environments; prior DARPA experience preferred and a Top Secret clearance (will submit for SCI).

Computer Network Operations Engineer

Description:

Provide Scientific Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and other Government agencies in meeting program objectives to include: Assessing proposals to determine technical merit of objectives and methodologies ; Providing technical analysis to define, assess, and monitor subject programs ; Writing technical reports and developing program briefing materials ; Planning and execution of Information Operations (IO)/network program tests and demonstrations ; Assessing program technical risk, user impact, and technology transfer ; Developing and researching new ideas for formulation of new programs ; Manage, operate, and maintain SPC IO laboratory to: Support research and development, test & evaluation, and perform independent validation and verification of existing customer systems and applications; Maintain/enhance Computer Network Operations (CNO) and network core competencies; Develop/write technical proposals to provide direct engineering services/products; Maintain professional relationship with Program Managers, Government agents, contractors, and technical community to support program reviews and provided engineering services ; Some local and nationwide travel. Requirements include: 7 - 10 years experience in the field of Information Operations ; Extensive CNO expertise; Specific technical areas include software protection, network security, software analysis (including reverse engineering), intrusion detection, network communication protocols, wireless protocols, attack vectors, intrusion detection, and cryptography; BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is required; Top Secret clearance required (will submit for SCI). U.S. Citizenship required.
