Description: 
 
Will participate on research programs sponsored by the federal government with the objective of evaluating the potential of emerging technologies for use in the national defense and intelligence arena. Candidates should have at least a bachelor’s degree (a graduate level degree is a plus) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related discipline with strong interests and experience with MEMS; advanced materials; optics; photonics or electronics. Excellent research skills; good verbal and written communications skills; and the ability to work well with others in a research environment required. It should be noted that this position is primarily a support/consultative position and no hands on design/fabrication will occur. Candidates should be U.S. citizens and should be able to get approval for a security clearance.

EOD Specialist


Description: 
 
Become a member of a small team that is responsible for the identification, development, and capture of new business opportunities related to countering improvised explosive devices (IED), Large Vehicle Borne (IED), hostage/suicide proxy device and electronic counter measure (ECM) warfare . Work closely with DoD, NIJ, and TSWG customers to develop and articulate needs and requirements for both EOD/HDS, Force Protection and SWAT missions. Monitor and assess competitive environment on a continuing basis and provide insights into business capture planning. Brief management, develop orders forecasts and market analysis, and work closely with support functions to ensure timely application of resources in new business acquisition process. Must be a graduate of NAVSOLEOD or HDS. Bachelor's degree preferred. Nine or more years of EOD related experience, including military experience dealing with Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Countermeasures and/or Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Disposal, with current deployments to Iraq and/or Afghanistan as the Team Leader, senior level management experience desirable. Current Active Security Clearance. Understanding of DoD procurement process.

Electronic Warfare Systems Acquisitions Manager


Description: 
 
Functioning in support of NAVAIR at Patuxent Naval Air Base, this individual will provide support to the electronic warfare systems acquisition process. The ideal candidate will have five or more years acquisition experience, preferably with EW systems. A relevant bachelors degree plus a current Top Secret clearance desired. EA-6B aircrew experience or F/A-18 flight experience or Navy helicopter experience plus NAVAIR familiarity a plus.

Description: 
 
Will support NAVAIR program in introduction of new Naval aviation systems to the fleet. Develop fleet CONOPS, Implement Directives and prepare fleet introduction briefings. Will Support tactics and training working groups and tactics analysis teams. Represent the program office at design reviews, technical coordination meetings and program management reviews. Coordinate activities with other PMAs. Requires TS clearance, relevant BS and five years relevant experience.

Work directly with government customers to provide programmatic/ technical analysis and support to Defense Department research and development programs. At least a Bachelor of Art or Science degree or three years of experience. Active Secret clearance required. Demonstrated creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in program management, financial and administrative matters. Experience in tracking technical and financial milestones. Experience in tracking technical and financial milestones. Experience in creating and coordinating budget and acquisition funding documents. Requires knowledge/competence in analysis using modern PC computer techniques, systems, and tools. Demonstrated experience in organizing and facilitating meetings. Requires programmatic analytical skills. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor, customer service attitude, and multidisciplinary skills required. Superb interpersonal skills a must. Three (3) or more years DOD experience preferred. DARPA experience a plus. Prior military and/or military knowledge, experience and background a plus.

Responsibilities include receiving incoming personnel; verifying access rights; control of electronic devises; control of sign-in procedures; visitor badges and escorts; and general administrative duties. Candidates should have a high school diploma and active secret security clearance. proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic Excel is required. Military experience is a plus.

Requires a bachelors in engineering and five to ten years of networking experience. Should have strong background in the testing of wireless networks plus a current secret clearance. Technical work will be conducted in support of DARPA sponsored research programs.
