System Planning Corporation Vice President to Take White House Post

Arlington, VA., Aug. 20 - System Planning Corporation announced that effective today, Joe Rozek, Vice President for Security, Operations and Technology has resigned from the company to accept a position as a special assistant and Senior Director for Domestic Counterterrorism to President George W. Bush.

The announcement marks a return to the White House for Rozek, who served as senior director for threat countermeasures and incident management in the Office of Homeland Security from November 2001 until May 2003. Rozek joined SPC immediately following his White House duty.

System Planning Corporation prides itself on its contributions to the national security of our nation, said Charles L. Cragin, SPC Senior Vice President for National Intelligence, Security and Response. It is with that same pride that we express appreciation for Joe Rozek's stellar performance at SPC and wish him well in his new assignment in service to America.

During his tenure at SPC, Rozek played a key role in expanding the company's homeland security business, especially in the areas of crisis and emergency preparedness, emerging threat countermeasures and critical infrastructure protection.
