SPC Senior Vice President to Chair Transportation Security Briefing
Arlington, Va. (Sept. 17) System Planning Corporation's senior homeland
security executive, Charles L. Cragin will chair and moderate a transportation
security executive briefing on port and maritime security, Wed., Sept. 22.
Sponsored by Homeland Defense Journal and Homeland Defense Radio.com, the
half-day briefing is one in a series of conferences designed to
educate government and business leaders about current transportation industry
security issues. The conference features both government and industry panels
that will address lessons learned, best practices, policy initiatives, and new
technologies.
Cragin is SPCs Senior Vice President for National Intelligence, Security and
Response and is responsible for the company's comprehensive range of homeland
security products and services.
Most recently, SPC has supported two trade lines for the Dept. of Homeland
Security's Operation Safe Commerce, developing and testing an innovative cargo
container security system, which has the potential to improve the nation's
supply chain security.
System Planning Corporation (SPC) brings over 30 years experience to solving
the complex homeland security challenges we face today. SPC's resume includes
support to many federal, state and local government agencies.
For example, SPC's TriData division alone has supported more than 250 state and
local agencies in addressing fire, police, and emergency management and
response issues. This blend of knowledge and experience across all levels of
government provides SPC with a unique capability to meet the most challenging
needs.
