System Planning Corporation Awarded Contract to Supply RCS Radar Imaging System for F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Manufacturing Testing
Arlington, VA (May 23) -- System Planning Corporation (SPC) today announced that
it has been awarded a contract by Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company to supply
an SPC MkVe Radar Cross Section (RCS) Radar Imaging System for the Joint Strike
Fighter (JSF) Program.
Lockheed Martin, prime contractor for the JSF Program, will use the SPC MkVe
System to provide quality assurance data pertaining to the radar signature of
F-35 JSF aircraft.
The testing will occur at Lockheed Martin’s production facility in Fort Worth,
Texas while the aircraft are in the manufacturing environment. The data will be
used to assure the aircraft meet JSF signature requirements.
