System Planning Corporation Enlists to Support the National Guard and Reserve
Arlington, Va. (Mar. 10) – System Planning Corporation (SPC) today announced that it has
formally pledged to support the nation’s National Guard and Reserve through DoD’s Employer
Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) program.
In signing his statement of support, Dr. Ronald L. Easley, SPC Chairman and CEO, said that
the company recognizes the National Guard and Reserve is essential to the strength of the
nation and the well-being of its communities.
“These patriotic men and women serve voluntarily, training to respond in time of need.
That need is great now and so the business community must do its part to encourage employee
participation,” said Easley.
The ESGR program asks employers to pledge not to deny employment or reduce career
opportunities because of service in the Guard or Reserve, and to grant leaves of absence
for military service without sacrifice of vacation.
SPC currently counts eight staffers as members of the Guard and Reserve among its 200
employees.
