System Planning Corporation Awarded Contract to Study Arlington, Texas Fire Department
Arlington, Va. (Mar. 16) – System Planning Corporation (SPC) today announced that its TriData division has been awarded a contract to perform a comprehensive analysis of the City of Arlington, Texas Fire Department. The study is expected to take six months to complete.
SPC/TriData’s study will include a review of each major division of the Arlington Fire Department including management and organization, fire suppression and special operations, fire prevention, emergency medical services, as well as support functions of training, information technology and 9-1-1 dispatch and communications. The city has also asked SPC/TriData to review its emergency management system and firefighter health and safety programs.
The Arlington study becomes SPC/TriData’s fifth major project in the Lone Star State. TriData has previously conducted studies for the cities of Houston, Ft. Worth, Irving and Corpus Christi.
