TriData Contributions to Fire Service Recognized by International Fire Chiefs
Arlington, Va. (Nov. 3) – System Planning Corporation’s TriData division received an award recently from the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) for TriData’s valuable contributions to the fire and emergency service.
IAFC President, Chief Jim Harmes, and First Vice President, Chief Steve Westerman, presented the award to TriData President, Phil Schaenman, after he addressed the IAFC Strategic Planning and Leadership Forum held in McLean, Virginia. Schaenman was the sole industry representative invited to speak to the IAFC’s collective leadership team.
The award recognizes TriData’s ”25 years of commitment and dedication” to the fire and emergency service and for “working together with the IAFC with integrity, passion and professionalism.”
An article appearing in the current (October 2006) issue of Fire Chief magazine provides insight to one reason the IAFC chose to recognize TriData, saying that “over the past 25 years TriData has produced more landmark research studies than any other company in the United States, if not North America” in the fire, emergency services and public safety arenas
Established in 1981 and based in Arlington, TriData is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
