TriData 25th Anniversary Recognized by International Fire Chiefs
Arlington, Va. (Nov. 20) – In recognition of its 25 years of valuable contributions to the Nation's Fire and Emergency Service, System Planning Corporation's TriData division recently received an award from the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC).
IAFC Executive Director Gary Briese made a ceremonial presentation of the award plaque to TriData President, Phil Schaenman, at an anniversary luncheon held at SPC headquarters here last Friday. Schaenman originally received the award from IAFC President, Chief Jim Harmes, and First Vice President, Chief Steve Westerman, after speaking at the organization's recent Strategic Planning and Leadership Forum in McLean, Va.
The award recognizes TriData's "25 years of commitment and dedication" to the fire and emergency service and for “working together with the IAFC with integrity, passion and professionalism."
An article appearing in a recent issue (October 2006) of Fire Chief magazine provides insight to one reason the IAFC chose to recognize TriData and its efforts to improve fire and emergency services, saying that “over the past 25 years TriData has produced more landmark research studies than any other company in the United States, if not North America" in the fire, emergency services and public safety arenas.
Established in 1981 and based in Arlington, TriData produces fire, EMS and safety studies and analyses for federal, state and local governments. For more information about TriData and the consulting services it provides, visit http://www.sysplan.com/TriData/.
