New Fire Department Study Underway for Woodbridge Township, N.J.
Arlington, Va. - System Planning Corporation's TriData division today announced the kick off of a Fire Feasibility Study for Woodbridge Township, N.J. and its Fire Districts #1 and #2.
The township and its fire districts were interested in exploring opportunities for savings and increased service levels through a partnership of
resources, including:
- Career firefighters
- Volunteer firefighters
- Equipment
- Facilities
- Fire prevention
- Dispatch
- Administration
The township awarded SPC's TriData division a contract to do the work in May. For this study, the scope of work is grouped into four major areas: risk, demand and deployment; management operations and finance; facilities and equipment; and financial analysis and future capital plans.
The details of the approach are tailored to the particular question(s) being asked. Study tasks and timeline have been designed specifically for the project with subject matter experts assigned to specific tasks.
