The Radar Physics Group is the evolution of an organization established within SPC in the
late 1970's to offer specialized electronic instrumentation to the government and private
industry. A major focus of that business has been to design and develop instrumentation radar
systems, high speed data collection systems, and radar data processing systems. The Group
consists of 30 scientists, engineers and technicians organized into four groups.
Development Engineering
Design and light manufacturing of radar system hardware
Design and development of radar control software and real-time processing.
