More robust military air vehicles and enabling technologies through vigorous research, development, test, and evaluation
SPC’s air warfare systems enhance military air vehicles and associated enabling technologies for the U.S. government.
Our engineers bring hands-on experience and deep technical knowledge to the fields of jet aircraft research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E), aircraft survivability, aircraft avionics, weapons systems integration, combat identification systems, and smart/precision guided weapons. Specialists in network architecture and avionics development provide information assurance and anti-tamper system engineering.
The NAVAIR/NAWCAD organizations have relied on SPC’s technical RDT&E, systems engineering, and program support for its AX, JAST, and JSF new concept aircraft as well as its JSOW/JDAM, and JASSM new precision-strike weapons. Other projects have included the E-2 Hawkeye, F/A-18 Hornet and EA-18G Growler acquisition programs, Navy Unmanned Combat Aerial System, Advanced Tactical Aircraft Protection Systems, Presidential Helicopter, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet Foreign Military Sales initiatives, and Network Centric Warfare support for naval aviation platforms. In 2008, SPC was selected to conduct an air defense system study for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in support of the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force future planning initiative.
SPC can provide various M&S tools to aid in multiple tasks, from CONOPS development to justification for POR/POM submissions.
SPC employs a select group of EW specialists recruited from both the military and private industry to provide a highly capable corps of operators and engineers. This group can determine the effects of electronic attack on various systems and recommend electronic protections.
From CPI determination to PPP generation, we can provide a wide variety of support for customers. SPC's anti-tamper and information assurance measures play a large part in program protection.
SPC provides expert support in SOW/CDRL writing, RFP development, GFE tracking, and proposal negotiations for various contract types (TDLs, CPFF, etc.).
Our Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) trained personnel can quickly generate metrics, provide basic analysis, and execute funding documents to help ensure that benchmarks are met. We also provide future FY planning and POR/POM support.
Our certified program and project managers work directly with contractors to keep customers apprised of their programmatic efforts, ensuring their programs and projects are on schedule, under budget, and within scope constraints. We are the technical bridge between the contractor and senior program leadership.
